Brilliant day. Bus and then tube to Marble Arch. Early lunch at the Quebec.

Then walked to parade start.

On the Opening Doors bus till end of parade. Huge crowds.

Rain, but some sunshine. Stood almost all the way. Lovely young man lent me his rainbow hat to wear.

Lots of waving and blowing of kisses.

At the end of the parade, walked back a bit and watched the rest of the parade (our bus was near the start if the parade) - took about two hours to go passed.

Got home tired, back quite sore, but happy.

My new Garmin activity monitor tells me I took 7,495 steps and covered 3.69 miles. Not bad for someone with a trapped nerve in his lower back, some other spinal problem in the upper back, not to forget ataxia. So, rather pleased with myself even though it will likely be suffering after effects for several days to come. At least I did it...
